Aged Oak Wood Effect Porcelain

16th January 2015

By Tom Hollingsworth

Here at Floors Of Stone we are so so excited to introduce the first out of five new products within our Wood Effect Porcelain range.

We have been working directly with the exclusive Italian manufacturers of this porcelain range to bring a taste of the beautiful Alpine regions of Northern Europe to British design.

The first of our range, which is now available to purchase and request samples of, is the delicate Aged Oak Porcelain.

The realistic riven surface, heavily detailed grain and slender elongated lines make this Porcelain tile look like a wooden floor, but with all the benefits of being man-made.

Popularity for a wood effect product has risen due to a couple of different practicalities;

Firstly our new Porcelain range is great to use with underfloor heating, this is not always the case with wooden flooring.

Secondly the upkeep is so much easier. You are able to use water and even a steamer to clean the tiles whereas with wooden floors you are reliant on expensive and time consuming cleaning products.

People are also loving the fact that unlike real wood the Porcelain does not splinter or warp and feels great under foot.

As the Aged Oak Porcelain and our entire Wood Effect range can be laid on both the floor and walls we can see this revolutionary piece of design becoming a real staple in British homes!
