Hathern Tile approched Floors of Stone a number of years ago as a stone tile fitting company who specialise in the installation of natural stone flooring. We have worked with Robert Booton by recommending him to customer of ours who love our natural tiles but are in need of someone to fit them. Below is an example of our tumbled travertine laid out in the opus pattern.
Robert has dealt with a number of different types of our natural tiles such as travertine tiles, limestone tiles, marble tiles and slate tiles. He mainly deals with our travertine tiles such as the rustic travertine and the light tumbled travertine. Below you can see another example of our tumbled travertine laid out in the opus pattern.
Robert is based in Leicester and covers anywhere in the Leicestershire area, however I have known him to travel as far as France to complete a job for a customer who purchased the light tumbled travertine. I am sure if the right job came along anywhere in the country he could be the tiler for the job.
Above you can see our light tumbled travertine laid out in a brick bond formation. The customer here has used the 610×406 size tile but you can lay any of our rectangular tiles in this pattern.
Above you can see another example of our Umbrian limestone. This again is proving a popular seller and here you can see an example of the limestone laid out in a brick pattern. This customer went for our Umbrian limestone in the free length pattern which consists of 4 different lengths of stone all with the same width to help create a classic flagstone floor.
