When we moved to Cotes Mill back in 2013, who knew that this little garage would become a ceramics studio? That’s the beauty of Cotes Mill. Paul, our MD never switches off, his head is awash with ideas and it doesn’t take long for them to become reality. What was once a run down storage space has been converted into a ceramics studio with a team of three very talented ceramicists, Ed, Hannah and Claire, producing handcrafted sinks, tiles and kitchenware.
Ed, who you can see working away in the below picture works for deVOL and after months of experimenting has produced the most beautiful range of sinks. It’s been a long journey but the finished articles are definitely worth the wait.

Hannah is our incredible tile maker. You have probably seen previous blogs about her handmade creations and they are now live on our website. We have already sold lots of the Cotes Meadow range to local customers and have sent other designs across the world to Ibiza and California!
They have received lots of press attention in national interior magazines and have featured on Remodelista, one of the biggest interior sites in the world!
Finally, let us introduce Claire, the newest addition to the ceramics team. A recent graduate from Loughborough University and runner up at New Designers, her lovely range of homeware is already a big hit. A range of classic stoneware in soft, muted colours, practical yet stylish…
