Both Floors of Stone and deVOL Kitchens have done a lot of work with a company called Border Oak over the years. They are a great company that specialise in designing and constructing green oak structures. Their properties are always unique and beautifully presented.
Recently, Hannah, who works for Border Oak, and her partner Theo won the amazing accolade of The Best Self Build Home award at the Build It Awards. You can see pictures and more information about their stunning cottage here: (http://www.self-build.co.uk/characterful-low-cost-self-build-home).
They had a Shaker Kitchen from deVOL and used our China Black Slate on the floor. The overall finish is a beautiful country feel, with tons of character and unique charm.
It’s a great achievement and we wish them lots of luck and happiness in their stunning new home.
