Super White Matt Porcelain

6th July 2015

By Kathryn Collins

This beautiful kitchen and living space in Chelmsford was created by deVOL and our customer. A clean, simplistic design with maximum impact, we think it looks great! A step away from the usual deVOL style of mixing classic with rustic features or teaming pale units with statement pieces of furniture in pinks or blues, this customer has added their own vision.

deVOL’s Linen units with Blanco Zeus silestone worktops and upstands, sunken stainless steel sinks and chrome taps complete the main run of kitchen in this light and airy room. The frosted glass pendant lamps add detail to the high ceilings and the customer chose our Super White Matt Porcelain tiles to keep with this contemporary finish. The Oak doors and table add a slight contrast but the stainless steel curtain poles and white linen curtains keep with the customer’s distinctive flair.

An alternative view allows you to see the traditional dark green AGA, again working as a contrast to the clinical style of the room and continued run of pendant lighting flows nicely. The customer has added seating to the room allowing them to enjoy this space not only as a kitchen to cook in but as a living space to enjoy, to read, to entertain and look out on to their glorious, lush gardens.

Our customer choose the Super White Matt Porcelain in the 600×300 format and installed them in a brick bond formation. We think this is a great choice to add a feature to the floor, whilst the colour is closely matched to that of the units the layout of tiles still draws the eye.

Elegant and stylish, this customer should be very proud of their finished project and we are very grateful they have let us share the stunning results with you.
