We set off after work, literally driving from one Mill to another! We were surrounded by lots of sheep and some lovely looking country pubs and delicatessens all serving goodies made with locally sourced ingredients.<\/p>\n<p>For me, it was hard not to notice the limestone floor that continued throughout the whole property. A limestone floor was the perfect choice for this rural retreat and after spending the previous days worrying if I was going to be too cold out in the sticks, I was somewhat relieved to feel the warmth of underfloor heating beneath my feet.<\/p>\n<p>The limestone was not one that I recognised, it was an assortment of creams, browns and golds and was a mixture of both lengths and widths. The high variance of colour is not one that\u2019s commonly sought after but I have to say it worked fittingly in this particular, open plan property, accompanied with a cosy log burner.
