Friday Night:<\/strong><\/p>\n

My best friend and I had been planning to go to Amsterdam for over a year for a joint birthday celebration, we finally got around to booking it this summer and we went shortly after in October. We couldn’t have planned it any better as we were lucky enough to have visited during a heatwave!<\/p>\n

We jetted off on Friday evening and our return flight was booked for early on Monday morning, so it was a real flying visit, and we wanted to explore as much as possible.<\/p>\n

Shortly after arriving in the city of freedom, and after being greeted by our lovely Airbnb host Sheron, we got an uber to Dam Square and went and explored the famous red light district. We also visited a few bars and coffee shops (it would be rude not to!), my favourite being Caf\u00e9 Hill Street Blues, with the floor to ceiling covering in graffiti and notes from previous punters.<\/p>\n
