Home Inspiration

I have to say, winter is not my favourite time of year.  I am a bit of a wimp when it comes to dealing with the cold. But with winter comes cosy evenings on the sofa, wrapped up in a blanket watching the TV. With the dark night’s drawing in, this is the perfect time to cosy up your home. I thought I would share a few of my inspirations for making a cosier living space.

Large church candles are the perfect way to warm up any living room, throwing off plenty of heat and light, to ease those dark, winter nights.

Fur throws and chunky cable knit blankets are another perfect way to add to a cosy living room. You can never have too many big cushions and chunky throws on any sofa! In fact, I think the more the better!

You can even make the most of the outdoors without feeling the cold. This gorgeous hammock dowsed in fur makes for the perfect outdoor winter living space.  I can just imagine relaxing here on a lazy Sunday morning, with a cup of tea and my head stuck in a book! What better way could you ask to start your day?

Another of my favourite trends is the exposed, old style hanging light bulbs. Whether they are clustered together or hung individually, they add so much warmth to any home and appear to be a very popular choice at the moment.
