At Floors Of stone we are really fortunate to be mentioned numerous times in all of the leading lifestyle magazines.
This year alone we have had copious amounts of magazine features, and in the March issue of Build It (www.self-build.co.uk) we had articles on two former customers who were so pleased with the final results of our natural stone tiles they had it published nationwide.
Floors Of Stone prides itself on seeing projects all the way through, from making sure a customer receives a sample if they desire one, to sourcing pictures of final projects so we can see how well the project has turned out.
Within the March issue of Build It both Marble stone floor tiles and Slate stone floor tiles were featured. For the Marble it was the elegant Botticino Tumbled Marble, always a firm favourite with people looking for Marble flooring due to its delicate creamy hues and rustic tactile tumbling.
Regarding the Slate it was our Chinese Black Slate that was featured in the same March issue; in conjunction with a DeVOL kitchen it creates a breathtakingly beautiful, rustic finish. The dramatic deep tones when combined with the heavily textured surface give a finish of a farmhouse kitchen, traditionally timeless.
The Slate featured in the Shropshire property shows that even at the lower end of the price scale natural stone flooring can be utilised to make any project unique. Slate is always a popular choice and in this project the juxtaposition of the black sensual tones with a crisp light grout means that it is not just a floor but a beautiful feature of the home.
