We are always looking to source exciting new products that we know will be an instant hit with our customers and when we found these new wood effect porcelain tiles, we instantly fell in love! As you may remember from my last blog, porcelain is becoming increasingly popular with a lot of customers who are looking for a practical flooring solution and we know that these new tiles will work perfectly in so many different home environments.

The rich, dark brown tones of the Acre Walnut Porcelain have grey undertones to give a more aged appearance. These tiles have a lightly textured surface and plenty of grain detail throughout the tiles to give the illusion of a real wood floor, whilst maintaining the practicality of porcelain. They can also be laid in a very on-trend herringbone pattern, which has proven to be extremely popular in the interior world at the moment, or if you prefer a more simplistic look then they can also be laid in an off-set brick bond pattern. These tiles can be used throughout the home in kitchens, bathrooms, hallways and are frost resistant so can also be used externally.

The warm tones of our Acre Hazel Porcelain have darker brown shades, lighter honey tones and plenty of grain detail throughout to, again, strengthen the appearance of a real wood floor. The size of the tiles have been selected so that they can be laid in a herringbone pattern as well as offset brick bond. These tiles would be perfect for use as a feature floor in an open plan space or alternatively these tiles work equally as well in a smaller space such as a bathroom or pantry. The tiles are also frost resistant so they can be used for an external space which can allow for a more seamless effect when continuing the floor from inside to out.

Perfect for a Scandinavian-inspired interior, the Acre Pine Porcelain has soft tones of ecru, fawn and pale grey to bring a feeling of light and space to a room. The subtle grain and patternation throughout the tiles, again, gives the illusion of a real wood floor, creating a beautiful feature floor. These versatile planks can be used throughout the home, in either kitchens, bathrooms or living spaces and can either be laid in a herringbone pattern or an off-set brick bond pattern. They are again frost resistant which allows for use externally.

All three of these new products come in a 155x620x18mm plank and are a cost of just £35.00 p/m2 inc. VAT so you can get a beautiful new floor without breaking the bank! Wood effect porcelain is a great alternative to real wood as it offers a much more practical solution with minimal upkeep, whilst maintaining the look of real wood. These tiles offer a contemporary, sleek look and are both consistent and extremely durable.
